At first glance, Scratch is just a cat. Cute, fluffy, funny. So much so that some once used him for internet popularity. But behind this mask lies something else:

Scratch is the result of experiments by the LifeInc corporation.

The company was looking for a way to create a new form of combat machines. Instead of complex artificial intelligence, they tried an unusual approach — linking a robot with a living creature. That’s how Scratch appeared: a cat who learned to control a machine as if it were his own body.

For the scientists, he turned out to be a “failed project” and was written off. But on the streets, Scratch found freedom — and a friend in Blot. 

Blot was the first to see in the cat not a mistake, but a personality.

The past did not let Scratch go. One day he returned to the LifeInc laboratories and found there the robot he had once been forced to train in. This time he took the machine for himself — and made it his forever.

Formally, the robot is listed under the Skytech Megacorp faction, but the cat himself is free from any factions.

Scratch’s life is now simple: the robot is his body, and Blot is the only one who truly understands him. Everything else matters little to him.
