C.A.T.S. is an asynchronous multiplayer game. Even though you play against the machines created by real players, your opponents shouldn't necessarily be online at the time of the battle. Being able to control the flow of a fight would give the attacker a huge advantage over the defender (who is offline at that time). That's why you can't control fights. The result is based on real-life physics and depends on the way both cars are designed.
